Who we are
HaloAutomations is operated by Nomad Technologist, based in British Columbia, Canada. We build AI receptionist and automation services for home-service businesses. Contact: chase@haloautomations.ai.
What we collect
Information you give us directly: name, email, phone, company details, and messages you send through our forms. Purchase information when you buy through our checkout, processed by Stripe; we do not store card numbers. Usage information such as pages visited, collected through privacy-respecting analytics. For clients of our AI receptionist service, call audio, transcripts, and caller details handled by the agent on your behalf.
How we use it
To deliver the services you bought, respond to your messages, send you the reports you request (like the missed-call breakdown), improve our products, and meet legal obligations. If you opt in to marketing email, every message includes an unsubscribe link. We comply with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
AI and call data
Our receptionist agents disclose that they are AI at the start of every call. Call recordings and transcripts are stored encrypted, used only to operate and improve the specific client's agent, and are never sold or used to train public AI models. Calls are processed by our infrastructure providers (telephony, speech, and language model services) under their respective data processing terms.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share data only with service providers needed to run the product: payment processing (Stripe), email delivery, database hosting, telephony and AI processing, and analytics. Each provider receives only what it needs.
Retention and your rights
We keep data as long as needed to provide the service or as required by law, then delete it. You can ask us at any time to access, correct, or delete your personal information by emailing chase@haloautomations.ai. We respond within 30 days. Canadian residents have rights under PIPEDA and, in BC, PIPA.
Changes
We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date above. Material changes will be announced to active clients by email.
